Your back catalogue may be worth more to us than it is currently generating for you.
21M pays independent electronic music labels and catalogue owners an upfront fixed fee for an additional layer of agreed audiovisual/digital rights, including agreed YouTube and Content ID rights.
You keep your masters. You keep your label. You keep Spotify, Beatport and your normal music business.
Many independent labels own valuable back catalogues but are not actively developing every possible source of revenue from them.
We build a large licensed electronic music library for audiovisual and digital content.
When a catalogue fits our model, we make a fixed one-time financial offer for an agreed package of rights. The owner keeps ownership of the masters and continues the normal music business outside the rights granted to 21M.
Our objective is simple: create an additional commercial use for existing music and pay the catalogue owner upfront for the agreed rights.
We review digital electronic music catalogues with approximately 100 tracks or more.
House, deep house, tech house, deep tech, minimal, techno, progressive, melodic, electronica and other electronic music catalogues are welcome.
YouTube Content ID is the system that can detect music when it appears in videos on YouTube.
If somebody already manages Content ID for your catalogue, that does not automatically mean we cannot work together. Tell us who manages it and we will review the situation.
If you do not know whether your music is in Content ID, that is also fine. You do not need technical knowledge to request an offer.
Complete the short form. It normally takes only a few minutes.
We look at catalogue size, music, ownership structure and the current YouTube / Content ID situation.
If there is a potential match, we send you an indicative commercial proposal and explain the next steps.
We confirm the eligible tracks, prepare the agreement and organise the required technical implementation.
Our standard model is designed to be simple.
The exact offer depends on catalogue size, suitability, ownership, rights availability and the final scope agreed between the parties.
No. Under our standard model, the catalogue owner keeps ownership of the masters. We license an agreed additional layer of rights.
No. Your label, brand and company remain yours.
No. You continue your normal exploitation of the catalogue outside the rights specifically granted to 21M.
Yes. The label can continue releasing and operating normally.
Yes. Older and legacy catalogues are specifically welcome.
We normally review catalogues with approximately 100 tracks or more.
That is not automatically a problem. Tell us which company manages it and we will review the arrangement.
No problem. Select 'I don't know' in the form.
We can identify and exclude individual tracks that cannot provide the required rights. We generally prefer to work with the complete eligible catalogue.
There is no automatic price per track. We review the catalogue as a whole and make an offer based on its size, suitability, ownership and rights situation.
Our standard acquisition model is a fixed upfront licence fee with no ongoing royalties or revenue share from 21M's exploitation of the granted rights. You continue receiving your normal revenues outside those rights.
Our model is built around long-term use, normally perpetual or for the maximum legally permissible duration, subject to the final agreement.
No. The standard model does not give 21M the right to redistribute your masters as standalone music releases on DSPs or download stores.
Where expressly agreed, the licence may also support audiovisual/digital creator, partner or platform programmes. The exact permitted scope is defined in the agreement.
No. The form is only an initial commercial enquiry. If we both want to proceed, the rights and agreement are documented before anything is implemented.
No. A submission is non-binding. You are free to accept or reject any proposal.
You do not need to prepare legal documents or understand Content ID. Give us the basic information below and we will review whether your catalogue may fit our model.
